Goodness. I have no idea what I’d put on mine! I’d guess most people are broad-ranging enough to not be able to put one thing on the badge, and asking people what they do and what they’re interested in is a good conversation starter, so you don’t want to ruin that!

Hey, you should definitely come along to OpenTech, whether or not you know anyone!

In fact, I’m thinking of giving everyone two stickers when they arrive, on which to write things. The first will say “Hi, my name is…” and the second will say “Ask me about…”.

What do you think?

Yes, I’ll be going! I didn’t know anyone when I went, but I recongnised a couple of people whose blogs I’d commented on and everyone was super super friendly.
