Galileo is one digit down
24 May, 2007I went to Florence in April and saw not only Galileo’s tomb and his first famous telescope but also his embalmed finger in a jar. Sadly, photos weren’t allowed 🙁

Galileo’s middle finger, no less. He’s still sticking it up to the establishment hundreds of years on.
